Nu Kuea x Hia Lian - Too good to be true | Cutie Pie Series

It's been a while since I last posted, I'm sorry I am much busier these days. I hope everyone who is watching this vid is doing well and taking a good care of themselves :)

I've had troubles getting over Not me finishing but this series and Kinnporsche are helping :) I'm pretty surprised at how much I like Cutie Pie and how attached I became to Nu-Kuea. I had low expectations for the plot because I don't like arranged marriages so much, and because I was scared of Nu-Kuea's personality set-up. It's no doubt due to Nunew's incredible acting that I came to love his character so much. The cinematography, production quality and ost are also remarkable ! I'm not a fan of Nu Kuea-Hia Lan relationship though. I don't really like their dynamic (Hia Lian is way too domineering for me), and find their relationship too asymmetrical on many levels.

My heart went to Nu-Kuea in episodes 4 to 8 (hence this edit). I feel like he is in a pretty bad position, not knowing what to do with Hia Lian's mixed signals and unable to trust it when Hia Lian actually shows him care or love. Contrary to most people, I don't feel their couch conversation in ep 8 solved any of their trust and communication issues, because Hia Lian's answers just didn't explain anything. For example, how is rejecting someone you love when they are confessing trying to show them your love in actions? That explanation didn't make sense to me at least. So yeah, I wanted to edit the lack of comfort and security which exists in this ambiguity (and lack of clear communication). So here it is!
