Marian Consecration is not a devotion that competes with the Eucharist—it draws us deeper into it. By entrusting ourselves to Jesus through Mary, we allow the Mother of God to teach us how to offer ourselves with Christ at the altar.

This deepens our understanding of intercessory prayer—the practice of asking others to pray for us. Just as we might ask a trusted friend or pastor to pray for us, Catholics have always asked the saints in heaven—especially Mary—to pray with and for us. Her intercession strengthens our own prayer and helps us grow in humility, love, and interior recollection at Mass.

At Rosary College, located in Greenville, SC, Marian Consecration is a living part of our spiritual life. Each summer, students, faculty, and supporters prepare for consecration together with a 33-day retreat, culminating on the Feast of the Assumption.
