In the bitter winter of the Korean War, a squad of soldiers entered a frozen forest to track a missing reconnaissance team. What they discovered instead were tracks too massive for any man, tents shredded and splintered, and a presence older than war itself — a Wendigo, a spirit of insatiable hunger stalking the frost.
As the blizzard tore through the mountains, the soldiers fought for survival against a creature that bent nature itself to its will. Flames, gunfire, and desperation marked the ridge where their final stand unfolded — but some things do not die. They only wait.

Those who returned spoke in whispers of gaunt, frost-covered figures, voices of the lost trapped in hollow chests, and the clicking sound carried by the wind through black pines. Command dismissed it as hallucinations from cold and stress. The soldiers called it the Frozen Hunger.
Decades later, survivors still hear the wind… and the clicking.
