In Iron Sakura, Lena Erziak explores the eternal tension between softness and steel, poetry and precision, tradition and defiance. This haute couture collection emerges from a deeply personal dialogue between the architectural sensuality of postwar Paris and the ancestral mastery of Japan.

While traveling in Japan and under the gaze of her beloved son, Lena Erziak discovered a world suspended in delicate power. Beneath the sakura trees, where petals fall like whispers yet return with unwavering certainty, the collection began to take root.

Inspired by Jacques Fath’s iconic bullet bra dress — a silhouette that sculpted the female form into a bold hourglass — Iron Sakura revives the architectural mastery of the 1950s. The pointed busts, accentuated curves, and structured lines declare an unapologetic femininity — not as ornament, but as presence, power, and control.

In Kyoto, Lena Erziak encountered not only the grace of the geisha, but also the silent strength of the samurai — two worlds woven together by discipline, tradition, and mastery of form. The kimono — both ceremonial and martial — becomes a recurring symbol throughout the collection. Its folds conceal and protect, while its structure commands respect. This duality infuses the silhouettes: sculpted, protective, precise — never fluid, always intentional.

At the heart of Iron Sakura lies the poetry of fabric itself. Lena Erziak sources and upcycles heritage textiles — fragments of vintage kimonos, rare silks, and intricate brocades — each carrying generations of memory. Embroideries inspired by cherry blossoms bloom across the garments, tracing nature’s own delicate defiance onto each piece, transforming every gown into a living narrative.
