Russian occupants in the Land of the Svans

The Svans - ancient people of the Caucasian mountains.
Kodori valley - the historical Land of the Svan people, now occupied by Russian and Abkhazian occupants.

Russians and Abkhazians tried to occupy Kodori valley (Western Svaneti) in 1993 but Svans defended their Land. In 2006 Georgian government unarmed Svan population. In 2008 Russians and Abkhazians occupied region performed ethnic cleansing of the Svans
