At a ceremony in Lausanne to mark the graduation of the MBA Class of 2025, speakers emphasized how strong relationships and shared values create leaders who thrive amid uncertainty.
Dean of the MBA and Hilti Chair Omar Toulan commended this year’s graduating class for their determination, intelligence, and humanity.
“Leadership is about making difficult decisions,” he said. “I have complete confidence that you are ready for that challenge and that you will do so with the empathy and compassion I have witnessed over the course of the year,” he said.
Class speaker Alfonso Martínez (Poncho) reflected on how the program not only equipped the graduates with skills and mindset for their future careers but also gave them something even more powerful: a support system.
“The MBA is not a bubble; it’s a support system. A bubble is fragile. There is nothing fragile about what we built this year. We forged a mindset. We built a community. And we set the foundations for future impact.”
