In my "EAS Adventures" series, I fly out from a hub to an EAS community and back to the same hub where I started the journey.

In this sixth episode of EAS Adventures, I fly to the unique EAS community of West Yellowstone located 273 miles north of Salt Lake City. This is a special video as WYS is the 50th EAS community I have been to!!! I take the trip on board a Delta Air Lines CRJ-200LR which is operated by SkyWest, which will be retired on Nov. 30, 2023.

Unfortunately, Delta has already ended their seasonal service to this community for the 2023 season, as they only see airline service from May until about mid-October every year, which coincides with the closure of the National Park entrance located only two miles from the airport. I included facts not only about the route, but also about the airport, and more fun facts about its past service history, including how the CRJ-200 and Delta has been an important part of the WYS community since the 1980's.
