In this video, I demonstrate the process of repairing and refurbishing a heavily damaged old 7-ton truck, utilizing usable parts to build a trailer towed by a diesel engine.
The process includes:
Dismantle and inspect the entire old chassis.
Reinforce the frame, weld additional stiffeners to withstand the load.
Renovate the axle, wheel, and tow hitch system.
Adjust the center of gravity for stable trailer operation.
Complete the work and conduct a real-world towing test.
From a seemingly discarded vehicle, it has finally become a sturdy, cost-effective, and highly functional tow trailer for daily work.
