Marines with 3rd Radio Battalion complete the Reconnaissance Physical Assessment Test aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Jan. 6, 2016. The RPAT is a physical conditioning examination that tests the subject’s endurance and mental capabilities through various events – a 500 meter swim, calisthenics, 1.5 mile sprint, 12-mile hike with combat load and two completions of the obstacle course.
