The i20 Active is for those customers who want the practicality of a hatchback and the road presence of an SUV. It comes with butch styling along with an increase in ride height and clearly looks the part. We drove the diesel version extensively to find out how good it really is.
Hyundai i20 Active is available in both petrol and diesel fuel trims in three grades: Base, S and SX. The petrol variants are priced between Rs. 6.71-8.33 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi), while the prices for the diesel ones start at Rs. 8.07 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi) and goes upto Rs. 9.56 Lakhs (Ex. Showroom, Delhi). The engine duties are performed by the same 1.2L Dual VTVT Kappa petrol and 1.4L U2 CRDi diesel mills that come with the Elite i20. The petrol variants get a 5-speed manual transmission, while the diesel variants come with a 6-speed manual transmission as standard.
