Odisha to Amend 45-Year-Old Revenue Law, New Land Management Act Soon

ବଦଳିବ ୪୫ ବର୍ଷର ପୁରୁଣା ରାଜସ୍ୱ ଆଇନ୍ । ଓଡ଼ିଶା ପ୍ରିଭେନସନ୍ ଅଫ୍ ଲ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡ ଏନ୍ କ୍ରୋଚମେଣ୍ଟ ଆକ୍ଟ ବଦଳିବ । ଓଡ଼ିଶା ସରକାର ଲ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡ ସେଟଲମେଣ୍ଟ ଆକ୍ଟକୁ ମଧ୍ୟ ବଦଳାଯିବ । ଖୁବଶୀଘ୍ର ଲ୍ୟାଣ୍ଡ ମ୍ୟାନେଜମେଣ୍ଟ ଆକ୍ଟ ଆସିବ । ଏଥିପାଇଁ ଡ୍ରାଫ୍ଟ ପ୍ରସ୍ତୁତ ସରିଛି । ଡ୍ରାଫ୍ଟକୁ ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣାଙ୍ଗ ରୂପ ଦେବା ଲାଗି ଅନୁମୋଦନ ପାଇଁ ବିଭାଗକୁ ଆସିବ । ରାଜସ୍ୱ ମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ସୁରେଶ ପୂଜାରୀଙ୍କ ସୂଚନା ।

The Odisha government is set to amend the 45-year-old revenue law, including changes to the Odisha Prevention of Land Encroachment Act and the Land Settlement Act. The decision was announced by Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari, who said a new Land Management Act will be introduced soon.

According to the Revenue Minister, the draft of the proposed Land Management Act has already been prepared. He informed that the draft will be sent to the concerned department for approval to give it a final and comprehensive shape.
