Lollo Meier is a Dutch Gypsy Swing guitar Master, composer, bandleader and arranger, Lollo comes from an elite family of Gypsy players.
A man of style, grace and humour, Lollos pure melodious playing touches his audiences and makes Djangos music as fresh today as it was 80 years ago. As well as performing, he spends much of his time teaching sought-after master-classes, sharing his artistry and passing down Djangos legacy. A remarkable man, with a remarkable style of playing. Out of 15,000 world entries in the 2005 International Song Writing competition, Nashville USA, Lollo Meier became a finalist with Melody for Le QuecumBar, with honouree status and became part of the top 1.4% of entrants.
Patil Zakarian is a laureate of the Gulf International Chopin Piano Competition, the Kuwait International Chopin Piano Competition (2010), and F. Liszt Grand Prix, a scholarship by the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage of Poland to attend a master course in Warsaw under the tutelage of Janusz Olejniczak, and a recital marking the 200th anniversary of the birth of Chopin.
She is an awardee of the Golden Key Composition Competition in New York (2012) for her piano composition with an invitation to perform it in Ehrbar Saal in Vienna. Her music has been performed in the UK, France, Netherlands, Kuwait, Poland, Bulgaria, and broadcast during radio programmes. In 2017, one of her piano works, Bloozjan, was released in the CD of Dutch jazz-pianist Marcel Worms.
Apart from performance and compositional work, Patil Zakarian is a skilled piano teacher, lauded by parents and students alike for her engaging teaching style, efficiency and enthusiasm.
