When I record videos like the one you're watching now, I'm recording in a slightly strange resolution. My video output is 3840x1080, which sounds like a SUPER wide screen, but in reality, the output is two 1920x1080 videos side by side. For editing, however, I need them to be individual clips (ie, two 1920x1080 videos).
There's a way to solve this problem with FFMPEG, and I've been using that, but Im finally at the point where Im ready to build on that solution and create something a little nicer to work with -- so, let's create a Desktop app that wraps FFMPEG and helps us split videos right down the middle!
