Why You Need a 'Viridis' Dwarf Japanese Maple!

Okay, all my Japanese Maple fans... If you’re looking for a gorgeous dwarf weeping Greenleaf Japanese Maple, check out this video!

Today we're going to plant a Viridis Japanese Maple on a hillside in the front yard. The Viridis is classic green lace leaf weeping Japanese maple with beautiful cascading branches. I'll show you how to pick the perfect planting spot for your own weeping Japanese maple tree! Let's find a well-drained spot in the yard, add our Espoma Bio Tone Starter, and show our new tree some extra TLC by fertilizing with some specially formulated Japanese maple food.

There are several things I love about this particular variety of Japanese Maple. Firstly, the Viridis Japanese Maple won't get too big, so it's perfect for a small patio area. The summer leaf color is such a beautiful green. And when autumn comes around, the real show begins, with yellows and oranges that are absolutely amazing!
