Though threatening weather reports kept us on our toes all week, September 27, 2025 turned out to be a beautiful day in northern Arizona, and the 2025 California Condor release went off without a hitch! Around 600 condor fans gathered in the valley below, while about 3,000 more tuned into our livestream. While the condors “got stage fright” and only one, Condor #1254, left the release pen during the event, all five have since entered the wild.
