Early Morning Rainy WALK - York Hospital, ENGLAND to Micklegate via Train Station Gateway

Amble round the often unseen parts of York with me. These streets of York are rarely this quiet! Starting at Wigginton Terrace Allotments, take a glimpse at York Hospital in the early hours, along passed Bootham Park Hospital, down St Mary's to York Train Station. See the progress being made on the York Station Gateway project as Queen Street Bridge is being dismantled and is revealing more of York's beautiful wall in the process, finally ending our journey at Micklegate.

Set in the heart of Yorkshire, York is one of England’s most historic and beautiful cities, offering a rich tapestry of heritage dating back to Roman times. Today, York is renowned for its well-preserved medieval architecture, including the iconic York Minster and featuring the famous Shambles, often regarded as the best-preserved medieval street in Europe. This channel aims to showcase not only the main tourist attractions, but also the unseen hidden gems too.
