The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: أفضَلُ الأعمالِ إيمانٌ باللهِ وَ رسولِ
[related by Imam al-Bukhaariyy]
It means: «The best of the deeds is the belief in Allah and in His Messenger.»
Believing in Allah and His Messenger ﷺ is the best of the deeds and most rewardable by Allah. The Muslim believes that Allah does not resemble any of the creations. He is not like any of the creation. Allah does not have a shape, body, size, or form.
The good deeds like prayers, fasting, pilgrimage, and Zakaah, are valid only if one believes in Allah and His Messenger
The good deeds are not accepted from a non-believer.
