In today’s vlog, we’re continuing our incredible holiday at the St George Hotel Spa & Beach Resort. This adults-only, all-inclusive plus resort has quickly become one of our favourites, and in this episode, we’re not only showing more of the hotel but also exploring two very different highlights of Paphos: the Tombs of the Kings, one of Cyprus’s most important archaeological sites, and the lively Route 66 Bar & Grill, the perfect place to end the evening.

🏨 The St George Hotel Spa & Beach Resort

If you’re planning a holiday to Cyprus, this resort is one to consider. Located right on the seafront in Chlorakas, just outside Paphos, the St George Beach Hotel combines a relaxed atmosphere with modern updates. Recently renovated, the hotel now offers refreshed rooms, stylish restaurants, and upgraded facilities.

As an adults-only resort, it’s ideal for couples, friends, or anyone looking for a more peaceful break. 🏛️ Visiting the Tombs of the Kings

Just a short journey from the hotel, you’ll find one of Paphos’s UNESCO World Heritage sites – the Tombs of the Kings. Despite the name, no kings were actually buried here, but the tombs do date back to the 4th century BC and were the resting places of high-ranking officials and aristocrats.

Walking around the site, you’ll discover a fascinating collection of underground chambers, stone columns, and carved rock structures. Some of the tombs are incredibly well-preserved, giving you a real sense of ancient Cypriot history.

It’s a must-visit if you’re staying in Paphos, and it’s easy to combine with a day of sightseeing around the city. Wear comfortable shoes, bring some water, and don’t forget your camera – the scenery and history here are unforgettable.

🍔 Ending the Day at Route 66 Bar & Grill

After exploring ancient history, it was time for something completely different – a night out at the Route 66 Bar & Grill. This fun and friendly spot is perfect for grabbing a bite to eat, enjoying live music, and soaking up the Paphos nightlife.

With a menu full of hearty favourites, delicious cocktails, and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s no surprise that Route 66 is loved by both tourists and locals. For us, it was the perfect way to wind down after a busy day exploring.
