**MAJOR 5th Alarm Fire** 7 Ladder Pipes Work to Battle Fire in Vacant Chelsea Tux Store

On the morning of May 30th, Chelsea FAO stilled Engine 1 and Ladder 2 to investigate a fire alarm in the historic former Russo's Tux and Limosine on Revere Beach Parkway. On arrival Engine 1 had smoke showing from the large vacant building and ordered the box, quickly followed by the working fire and 2nd alarm. As companies made entry they discovered a heavy fire load and were forced back into an exterior operation. 7 Ladder pipes were set up, and companies doused the blaze for several hours. Mutual aid responded from several surrounding communities including; Revere, Everett, Boston, Malden, Massport, Medford, Somerville, Cambridge, Lynn, Saugus and Belmont.
