A-Level Spanish

Spanish is an interactive and engaging A-Level here at BVGS and as well as enabling you to achieve a high degree of fluency, also allows you to explore many aspects of Hispanic Society, including culture and customs, history and modern social issues, as well as films and literature.

Spanish has over 500 million speakers worldwide making it the second most spoken language in the World, which has rapidly advancing importance on all continents.

An A-Level in Spanish is versatile, held in high regard by universities and employers alike and most importantly useful for both work and travel. Aside from those opting for a Spanish degree, other previous BVGS students have continued their studies to go on to study Spanish alongside subjects such as Engineering, Law, Accountancy/ Finance, Economics and Marketing and Medicine to name just a few and an increasing number are securing places on apprenticeships with companies such as KPMG . Employers are always impressed by language skills as they demonstrate excellent communication and problem solving skills, and a good command of an additional language can make you more employable and increase your potential salary!
