Go to Angel Air for more info: http://www.angelair.co.uk/?s=DATA) The original 27 minute film was directed by Jonathan Lewis and it won the Silver Hugo Award at the Chicago International Film Festival for Best Short Film and was also nominated for a British BAFTA award for Best Short Film in 1982. This 6:44 minute edit of highlights was done by BW to the original composition used in the full length film. The film was written by Tony Attard and starred Ken Campbell, Bryan Pringle, Anna Quayle, Gwen Nelson and Sheila Steafel. DATA = Georg Kajanus + Frankie & Phil Boulter. 'Opera Electronica' was the title track of the first DATA album, released in 1980. Kajanus followed 'Opera Electronica' with two more albums, entitled '2-TiME' and 'Elegant Machinery'. Kajanus was also the lead singer-songwriter with the band Sailor ('A Glass of Champagne', 'Girls Girls Girls'). All the videos on the Georg Kajanus Channel (bwbarb) were uploaded by the songwriter and performer for promotional purposes under the "fair usage" provision.
