This is a trombone quartet arrangement that I put together while spending an inspiring week at BANFF's wonderful Ensemble Evolution program as faculty last summer. I flew in to BANFF from Tel Aviv, which created a whopping 10 hour jet-lag, and therefore, some completely sleepless nights. I arranged a couple of ideas of my previous composition "Up In The Sky" for a trombone quartet. I intended to video the performance when we played it there, but my phone betrayed me, or maybe I betrayed it by not making sure it had plenty of space in it.
Never the less, this is a timely "overdubbing" version, and though I miss the wonderful collaboration with our "Ensemble evolution trombone quartet", this version it has its own strength... :)

It was also recorded and released earlier this year by Monika Herzig's Sheroes for our latest release "Eternal Dance".
