Angkor Wat is one of the most important archaeological sites in South-East Asia, and millions of people flock here to marvel at the ancient buildings and designs. That means that there are tons of scams to avoid as well. In this video I list a number of common or not-so-common scams that tourists may encounter as they try to visit the temple complex.

I also show you some of the most famous temple sites - the main temple, the Bayonne Temple, and the Ta Prohm Temple - made famous from the Tomb Raider movie. My journey starts with a sunrise view of Angkor Wat. Is it worth getting up at 4 in the morning for? Well, I guess you'll have to watch the video and see for yourself.

Aside from showing you some of the amazing sights of the Angkor Wat complex, I also tell you of restoration efforts and how tourism has affected the nearby town of Siem Reap. Basically - this is a video to fully prepare you for your own visit to this ancient historical site!
