We’re back in beautiful Nutfield – the site of one of our favourite previous discoveries: that stunning Elizabethan/Jacobean buckle. This time, the whole Bearded Bleepers crew was back in action, with Mick making his long-awaited return after twisting his ankle six months ago!

With the full team reunited, the detecting gods smiled on us – we had an absolute cracker of a day! Some of the highlights include:

🪙 A couple of silver Georgian coins
🎖️ Military buttons and badges with rich historical detail
🪙 Several 18th-century coins with great patina

It was an incredible day of metal detecting, camaraderie, and uncovering hidden history right beneath our feet. As always, the joy is in both the finds and the stories they tell.
