Building a Greener Bogotá | Jader Ruiz on Geotechnical Engineering & Sustainable Design | SYSTRA

Meet Jader Ruiz, Civil Engineer with a Master’s in Geotechnics and a Specialization in Project Management. With more than 12 years of professional experience in geotechnical engineering applied to tunnels and underground works, Jader currently serves as Technical Office Manager for SYSTRA Colombia.

“As a technical manager, my mission is to ensure that our projects are delivered with the highest quality possible; maintaining the reputation for responsibility and excellence that defines SYSTRA.”

In Colombia, Jader leads one of SYSTRA’s most significant ongoing projects: the supervision of the Carrera Séptima Green Corridor, a 14-kilometer Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line designed for TransMilenio. This project is part of Bogotá’s broader effort to revitalize the city through sustainable urban design.
