Retro Keyboard Issues

A common problem encountered by retro computists (?) is keyboards that are worn out, broken, or just plain don't work anymore. In this video I describe and attempt to address a couple of keyboard issues.
First, I replace the foam and foil pads on a Franklin Ace 1000 keyboard. I use new made replacement pads from TexElec.com. The specific product that I use can be found here:

Up next, I address a non-working ZX Spectrum+ keyboard which I am using with a Harlequin 128 Spectrum clone. The Harlequin itself is one that I build as a kit from ByteDelight.com. This is a great kit and it can be found here:
