Denouncing AKA: Faith in Action

I never thought this would be me. I loved my AKA, my line sisters, my pink and green, and my org as a whole. I originally looked deeper into this lifelong commitment that i had made, which was my membership in Alpha Kappa Alpha Inc during a time when my friend denounced. I was so angry and upset because she claimed that these organizations were not of God. Offended, i made it a point to challenge her on this, but in that process something happened. As i gathered my information to prove her wrong-- i myself, felt challenged. God was revealing things to me left and right that i had done, had said, and had oathed my whole life to. I was heartbroken. I didn’t want to lose my sisters and friends, my greek community, and everything that i was so invested in. BUT, God gave me the word to get out as this was not a good reflection of him and was wrong. A year later he gave me the word to be public about this (present day). I had to learn that i could not please both the world and God. I was scared, fearful, and concerned about what people would do and say about me but i have faith enough to trust GOD even when i can’t see the end goal/next steps...So boldly, i am denouncing and I have a video sharing just a little of what was revealed to me in that process which is above.
