Coxford down 15.5.23 sight lap including a cased "unexpected" double & chipping a tooth 😆

Coxford down (Popham) Sunday 15/05/23

First careful (not careful enough) lap around Coxford down with my new riding buddy (another Ben) ended up being quite a tough day for us really, the tracks quite long, it was hot and either pretty wet or pretty dusty, slippery everywhere regardless of which end of that spectrum we were at.

The day was a bit of a treat initially, as this was one of the first tracks I rode as a kid so I had find memories although the tracks changed loads since then.

Anyway this slow lap resulted in a chipped tooth ( not that I realised at the time) when I misjudged what I didn't realise was a double and slammed hard enough into the face of the other side to bounce over lol so I either hit it too slow or too fast for a sight lap.

unfortunately we didn't ride much on the day, sombody had a bad off resulting in a break which suspended riding for quite some time, hope they're healing up well.

oh and correction..... at the end of the vid I said about the track being around 1.3miles, it's not.... maybe that was the layout years ago, it's 2 miles now give or take!!
