Encouragement can be an expression of support or approval that we give to our children. When we praise our kids and let them know that they should keep trying, we are "encouraging" them!
Young children begin looking at their actions and they begin to evaluate their actions based on feedback from parents, teachers and friends. Helping our kids know when they are doing the right thing by encouraging them to keep doing it is the foundation of one of the most important values/virtues/gifts that are inside of our hearts and it's Free!
We "encourage" our students to look inside of their hearts to find beautiful values and virtues to be the best that they can be towards others and themselves.
Keep singing, dancing, and using the beautiful creative arts while you teach your students about these gifts as they learn through all sorts of ways, but for sure through music!
