Honestly, this wasn't as painful as I was expecting it to be. The Rock Drakes were annoying, but the Basilisk was only a little spazzy. It was certainly more pleasant than the time I tried this on Fjordur. That was a nightmare.
In my opinion, vanilla Basilisks are kind of mid. They don't resist radiation and while they are powerful, they just don't do anything you can't already achieve at the point in the game on Aberration where you can tame them. The Ab-Better Mod solves this problem by giving them a stupendously potent torpor venom, and the ability to swim through element as well as burrow gives it much more utility. How much will I use it? We shall see.
