The Koa guitar was a personal project I made from scratch, starting in high school and working on it in my spare time for two years after – I started with no experience and learned to woodwork though the whole process, and finished it just a few weeks before this house party! My buddy put this concert on at his house and invited me backstage – I met the band and asked them if they wanted to play the guitar I made and they were more than stoked about it!
