NEWLY MODDED! TKE HL-Power modded hydraulic elevator at IKEA in Woodbridge VA

(📹 3/7/2025) I can't believe that the two upper level elevators here got modded super recently. Interesting that KONE modded the three exit elevators here while TK Elevator did these. This used to be an MEI from 2001 with Innovation fixtures, then got modded in 2024. They put an all stainless steel cab in this, and it turns out quite nice. They still went for a harmonic door operator like the old elevator had, which is much more durable than those stupid Wittur linear operators with their boring motion. They replaced the power unit on this too and the motor sounds decent. Unfortunately, the last original elevator here is the big boi Thyssen Dover entry elevator. The freaking rare Thyssen Velino escalator that was here got modded into a TKE ES-Power escalator mislabeled as a "Velino".
