One of Leonardo’s favourite songs to play at the moment as the Manchester crowds love anything by Oasis.
This song was released on 10 October 1994 by Creation Records as the fourth and final single from Oasis’s debut album, Definitely Maybe (1994), and their second to enter the UK top ten in the United Kingdom, peaking at number seven, and ultimately spending 82 weeks on the UK Top 100 between 1994 and 1998.
Noel has openly admitted the opening riff of the song is very similar to the t-Rex song “get it on” which many people have criticised him for, but we love both songs and Leonardo loves playing both too.
Leo prefers to play this song using his epiphone goldtop les Paul guitar as it creates a similar sound to the original track and always goes down a treat with the Manchester crowds when he’s busking.
