Clarissa Ward is Chief International Correspondent for CNN. For more than 15 years, she has reported from front lines across the world from Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Yemen to Ukraine, Georgia, Russia and Iran. She has won some of the most prestigious awards in journalism, including seven Emmys and two George Foster Peabody Awards.

Most recently, her investigative story, conducted along with Bellingcat, on the poisoning of Russian opposition leader Alexey Navalny, and her coverage of Myanmar's political crisis, India's Covid emergency, and the political situation in Afghanistan with the American troops exit have gained worldwide attention.

In this conversation with One Million Voices Founder Catia Dal Poz, Clarissa talks about her experiences as a conflict reporter and shares stories from her recently published memoir On All Fronts: The Education of a Journalist.
