This is my first go at a dipped painting and I gotta say, it was pretty easy. I didn't need as much paint as I put down; if you are interested in making coasters, you can make a ton of them with this method. It was a great way to use leftover paints; I used my iris flower colors I had left from the series I recently painted. Recipe used is detailed below.
Though it doesn't look much like an Iris flower, I see a grouping of tropical birds, so I think I will be embellishing it when dry. :)

Paints used: Leftovers from Iris Flower Inspired Series. For color specifics, see videos 204 through 210. Each of these were mixed with 1 part paint, 2 parts Floetrol and 1/2 part water plus a bit more water if necessary to thin.
The base was mixed 3 parts paint, 3 parts Floetrol and 2 parts water. I used half Artist's Loft Flow Acrylic white and half Creative Inspirations in Titanium white.
