As part of gender week celebrations at IRMA, IRMA नाट्य मंच (INAM) presented its street play ‘UNEQUAL’ on 8th March 2017. The play emphasises on existing stereotypes and gender discrimination in the society.
It begins with a nursery rhyme to show, how deep-rooted are the gender stereotypes which makes it very difficult for the society, to look at gender-related issues being free from biases. As play proceeds we see men and women being a victim of discrimination on different occasions and situations.
Such issues can be dealt with, only when we, not only, change our thinking but also pledge to change lives of upcoming generations.
IRMA नाट्य मंच (INAM) dedicates this performance to all, who are seamlessly fighting for bringing gender equality to the society.
