Launched in 2014, the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, in collaboration with the Department of State, Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, builds essential relationships with the future leaders of tomorrow's political, economical, and social world. In 2016 and 2017, Duquesne University was one of the Institutes awarded to host a group of 25 Young African Leaders.
