During the partition of India in 1947, Punjab and Bengal experienced extreme chaos, resulting in one of the largest migrations in history. In Punjab, the migration was particularly brutal, with massive attacks against Hindus and Sikhs in the western region, leading to the loss of lives of an estimated 500,000 to 800,000 people as communities retaliated against each other amid fears.
In this video we have discussed in detail that how partition was a political failure and how historians in both countries instead of discussing the atrocities showed us another picture where we are supposed to celebrate this event rather than mourning.
