HOMONYMS – Words with similar pronunciation & spelling but different meanings.

English can sometimes be complicated. There are numerous words that have very similar pronunciations and spellings too but have completely different meanings in different contexts. These words are called Homonyms. And unless you use the right word in the right context, you can easily be mistaken.

ഇംഗ്ലീഷ് ചിലപ്പോൾ സങ്കീർണ്ണമായേക്കാം. സമാനമായ ഉച്ചാരണങ്ങളും അക്ഷരവിന്യാസങ്ങളും ഉള്ള നിരവധി പദങ്ങളുണ്ട്, എന്നാൽ വ്യത്യസ്ത സന്ദർഭങ്ങളിൽ തികച്ചും വ്യത്യസ്തമായ അർത്ഥങ്ങളുണ്ട്. ഈ വാക്കുകളെ ഹോമോണിംസ് എന്ന് വിളിക്കുന്നു. നിങ്ങൾ ശരിയായ സന്ദർഭത്തിൽ ശരിയായ വാക്ക് ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നില്ലെങ്കിൽ, നിങ്ങൾ എളുപ്പത്തിൽ തെറ്റിദ്ധരിക്കപ്പെടും.
