This is the first of two webinars intended for participants of NEHA’s Explorer Program for CDC’s National Environmental Assessment Reporting System (NEARS). Dr. Laura Brown from CDC’s Division of Environmental Health Science and Practice provides an overview of the reporting system for environmental health data from foodborne illness investigations. Guest speakers, Kayla Anderson from the Ottawa County Department of Public Health and Nichol Smith from the Massachusetts Department of Public Health speak on their NEARS User experience.
