The person singing the worship is Sam Reed. The inspiration behind this edit comes from the powerful message of the song, as it says, ‘Give me Jesus.’ It reflects a desire for Jesus above all else, because nothing else—no silver, no gold, no anything—can satisfy or even come close to Him.
I used scenes from The Chosen to try to capture the song’s emotion and communicate it in a way that resonates. As you’ll notice, I selected scenes of some of the people at their lowest points. I did this because I believe it’s often in our lowest moments, when we’re completely empty, that we realize how much we need Jesus—not when we’re full of ourselves.
