Afri Expo Textiles, founded by Lesotho entrepreneur Teboho Kobeli, and now part owned by Sekhametsi Investment Consortium, is quickly claiming its position in the lucrative textiles manufacturing industry of Lesotho.
The industry that is the highest private sector employer is dominated by foreign direct investors who take advantage of the preferential, as well as duty and quota free market access that Lesotho enjoys in regions and countries including SADC, AU, the USA and EU.
Kobeli says his mission is to encourage more Basotho to enter the industry.
