IWA 2025: Interview with Anna Janssen

Three-time European champion Anna Janssen even has her very own limited edition model, the Walther LG500 itec Triple Edition – the air rifle with Anna's autograph on the right side of the stock got its nickname because she won three gold medals at the 2024 European Championships: in the individual, with the German women's team, and together with Maximilian Ulbrich in the air rifle mixed. Incidentally, there are only a few copies of the "Triple Edition" left in stock, so hurry if you are looking for something special. Anna Janssen will be trying to defend her title from last year at the European Championships in Osiek/Croatia in a few days' time. In addition to the flagship LG500 itec BTE with electronic trigger (€5,698) or mechanical trigger (€4,748), the Walther product range now includes three other models with different prices and features: the Walther LG500 Expert (RRP €3,999) also has the Visionic match diopter and two systems for balance and recoil control. The LG500 Competition, available from May 2025 for €2,799 (RRP), is a very good competition air rifle. It has the simpler Insight-Out sight with sighting line elevation and has both an absorber and an adjustable buttstock. The new Walther LG500 Blacktec (RRP €1,999) is suitable as a club rifle or for beginners with the classic system stock, the basic rear sight and a 22-mm front sight tunnel.
