A few sedate scenes along the Severn Valley Railway on the final weekend of August and the chance to get an unusual shot of the resident Great Western Pannier Tank passing it's other Great Western shed mate '2857' at the recently cleared sidings at Highley Station, we capture two separate departures from the Pannier Tank as it powers up the mini 1/100 bank. The second departure had a bit of entertainment as late returning passengers delayed the departure of 7714 much to annoyance of the driver and fireman, the driver gave some angry blasts of the whistle as the late comers decided to take a leisurely pace across the footbridge while running nearly 15 minutes late. A few other scenes from Hampton Loade, Country Park Halt and the recently cleared Eardington Halt sidings are showcased. As always another enjoyable visit to our local railway.
