Private investigator on all the moving parts of the Vallow case

Rich Robertson, a private investigator talks to FOX 10's Justin Lum in a digital exclusive interview about the upcoming sentencing of Lori Vallow.

Vallow, the so called "Doomsday mom" was found guilty of killing her two children, J.J. Vallow and Tylee Ryan, and conspiring to kill Tammy Daybell, her husband Chad's first wife.

Robertson was instrumental in helping Kay Woodcock, J.J. Vallow's grandmother, and Brandon Boudreaux.

As private investigator and former journalist, this is a case he'll never forget, as it was something he'd never experienced before.

"This is certainly one of those cases.. so many twists and turns.. the emotional roller coaster that went with it.. it was unfolding while I was involved in it. And that was the most daunting part of it, I think. What's going on? Where does this go? Where does it stop? Why is this happening? It was definitely a difficult journey, particularly for the family members I was trying to assist."

The case involved doomsday beliefs, the end of times, the second coming of Jesus Christ - that's what prosecutors say Lori Vallow and Chad Daybell believed in. At the same time, they having a clear affair as they were both married to two different spouses. And we know Charles Vallow was murdered -- shot and killed by Lori's brother, Alex Cox, who is now dead.

Lori was indicted and accused of conspiring to kill her husband for a possible motive of life insurance money. Shortly after she left for Idaho, her children disappeared. Then Chad's wife Tammy suddently died. Then Lori's ex-nephew-in-law, Brandon Boudreax was shot at and police believe Lori's brother, Alex Cox, was the shooter and that Lori and Chad put him up to it.

First degree murder of JJ Vallow
Conspiracy to commit first-degree murder of Tammy Daybell
Grand theft

Vallow remains at the Madison County Jail in Idaho until her sentencing in Fremont County, which takes place July 31.
