Samus is sent to investigate a research colony where the Federation was experimenting with a new race of Xenos. When she arrives, it becomes clear that the Space Pirates have attacked and destroyed the facility. Now, it is up to her to defeat them and uncover the true reason behind the assault.

Visually, the game stands out with a distinctive style, using darker color palettes that nearly resemble black-and-white or sepia tones, accented by subtle hints of yellow, blue, green, and other muted colors. The level design is carefully crafted, with well-planned routes and enemy placement that provide a consistent and rewarding challenge during exploration.

The soundtrack is fully customized and carries a dark, mysterious tone, perfectly complementing the game’s environments.

Alongside Samus’s standard equipment, a new magnetic item is introduced, which becomes essential to master in order to progress through certain areas.
