This is the Savage Rascal .22lr that I bought for my boy. I'll go over a bit about the rifle, how/why I set it up the way I did, and how to keep your kid engaged while shooting.
We have been pretty happy with this setup. My boy can hit a 10" steel gong just about every time from 25 yards or so. Have fun, and stay safe!
Correction to video: The EGW scope rail is cut for Williams peep sight (FP-GR-tk). My boy had a heck of a time utilizing this setup. It was way too frustrating for him. We moved to the red dot and never looked back.
