Everspace 2 How to get the Legendaries you want faster and max them out.

Ever wonder how some Everspace 2 players get all the best gear? With the randomness of the rewards system, this should take forever right? Well, in this video I show you how to get the legendary items you want WAY faster.

Of course, before you can do this you have to unlock the rift challenges at the end of the game and be able to build a ship with what you have that can handle Lunacy 4000. If you can't, you'll need to start with lower ones and work your way up. This technique will help you do that too.

1 Manually save before you travel to a level 3 incursion. You must save outside of the incursion space.

2 Complete the incursion and pick up the reliquary

3 Manually save again, but name the file something else. Don't overwrite the first file.

4 Use Tears of the Mad to "peek" inside the reliquary

5 At this point, if you don't like the Legendary you see, reload the first saved game outside of the incursion space. Keep doing this until you get the Legendary you want.

6 Remember to save a second time before opening the reliquary with Tears of the Mad, every time.

7 Once you see the Legendary you want, reload the second save game you just made before you peeked inside, to get your Tears of the Mad back.

8 With the unopened reliquary acquired, fly to a spacial bypass and make a 3rd manual save game file naming it something else.

9 Play the hardest difficulty rift you can handle and pick the hardest modifiers. You want the percentages to add up to over 1100%. I usually try to get "Enemies are 50% faster 600%" or "When an enemy dies a detonator drone appears 600%" Although, as this video shows, sometimes you can have slightly under 1000% and wind up with a legendary that is almost maxed out.

10 Click on the legendary and go to the modify menu and then install catalyst menu. Roll your mouse over the Flawless catalyst but DO NOT install it. This give you a chance to see if your legendary is maxed out or not.

11 If you want it to be even 20% better, take a chance at chaos rolling. Make another manual save first and then start installing the chaos catalysts. You should have enough resources to do this about 20 times.

12 If the stats you want to max out don't all get the 20% increase, reload the save game you just made and try a different legendary item. If you try the same one you will get the same stats.

It is important to note that some Legendary items take way more chaos rolls to max out. For example I have had a Ragnarok hit 48% destabilization damage in just a few rolls. On the other hand, I went through 6 different Zero K boomers before one finally was to my liking. Of course, with the randomness of this game you could have the exact opposite thing happen.

A couple of things I didn't mention in this video is you can use the same process at the altars to get the radiant reliquaries that you want like True Shepard. Once again though you need to save before you enter the altar space.

The same thing for the Titans' Legendaries. I used this process to get Judgement days by saving and then beating the Dreadnoughts over and over.
