The CN Marquette Range North End in Baraga, MI 6 Years After Discontinuance

In June 2025 I went out to the small town of Baraga in Michigan's upper peninsula to document the state of the Canadian National line that dead ends there. It is the far north end of what is today CN's Marquette Range subdivision and has not been used in more than 7 years.
Background information:
The section covered in this video is only about 5.25 miles long and there are no active customers on it. After the customers went away, Baraga was last used as a crew tie-down point for the local L'Anse switcher that would make the run up several times a week. From what I understand, timing changes of that local train made the overnight stop in Baraga unnecessary. In 2019, CN filed with the Surface Transportation Board for a discontinuance of service along the line from approximately west of L'Anse to the end of track in the Baraga industrial park. It has now been 6 years after that status took effect and I figured some documentation of this line was necessary. CN will probably abandon the line through Baraga at some point, as it serves no purpose to them anymore.
Definitely not as overgrown as some of the other disused railroad lines I've looked at in the past, but equally as cool.
Whoops, this video was recorded in 4K but I messed up and rendered in 1080p. Now it’s too late to change it, and I guess now we can all watch knowing there is a higher quality version that’s not on YouTube.
