Mam Tor Sunrise Walk | More Peak District Outstanding Circular Walks | Purely Perfect Peaks

Mam Tor is one of the all-time iconic mountains of the Peak District, from the top you can look out in all directions. In this particular video we begin by looking out towards the east to catch the early morning sunrise. Make sure you stick around until the end of the video to catch the time lapse sunrise over the valley!
As Dave arrived so early, he was able to park in one of the numerous large laybys near the top of Mam Tor for free, however, there is a pay and display car park available as well. Please note that it gets very busy at peak times (pun intended).

This was walk number 16 in the More Peak District Outstanding Circular Walks series by the Ordnance Survey. Dave did a bit of freestyling and didn’t do the exact walk in the book, just the bits he really liked!
